The troops of the French Army board ship in Algiers and Oran to liberate Corsica.

Others leave from Bizerte in Tunisia and land in Naples. After violent fighting in Italy, Monte Cassino and Castelfiorentino, they advance north to liberate Marseille, Toulon, Grenoble and Belfort, to continue their advance on Alsace and finally to cross the Rhine to fight in Germany and Austria.
